A few years back there were a rash of crib recalls. We were one of those people who were stuck with a recalled crib and a issue on what to do with it. Bug and Diva both survived in said recalled crib. And certain people in this family felt SB would be safe as well. But I had a different opinion. So I mailed off the required pieces and waited for our new crib. And I just couldn’t throw away the old one. It just had to much life in it. So I took the springs, spray painted them and hung them on our wall. Added some family photos, favorite sayings and bible quotes and stuck them up there with some clothes pins that had been decorated with paint samples to coordinate with our living room. I loved how it turned out.
